RicePaddy, aka Irish chef Paul Asher, is currently cooking Northern Thai dishes at Bottle + Rye bar in Market Row, Brixton, Tuesdays to Saturdays. Paul is a big fan of Thai cooking, and has followed his passion by travelling to Thailand and cooking in some restaurants there, before coming back to the UK.
The food is fantastic - I had a lightly curried trout with sticky rice when I visited, and would heartily recommend it. The menu is a mix of big and small plates, cooked by Paul at one end of the bar. He changes the menu regularly, and I'm looking forward to going back soon to try more. His sausages look very enticing!
Paul is serving Tuesdays to Saturday nights, and Friday and Saturday from 2pm.
When - Tues-Sat - including Friday and Saturday lunchtimes, from 2pm. On Fridays it's just snacks from 2pm-4pm, then the full menu; on Saturdays it's the full menu from 2pm
