Lord of the Wings have been serving their wings by delivery over the lockdown, and for Saturday 4th July 2020 they will be offering curb-side pick-up from the Nelson pub at 32 Horatio St, off Columbia Road. You can order buckets of wings, their amazing fried chicken sandwich, and even beers from the nearby 40ft Brewery. The pub will also be doing takeaways of beer and wines, as it's currently operating as a pop-up by Borough Wines. Note that this is mostly for collection of pre-orders, but there will be some for walk-bys too.
"We’ve got a massive East London following from our time at Broadway Market & Victoria Park Market so wanted to do something here. I grew up on Columbia Road also so thought around this area would be perfect, and we’ve managed to hire the kitchen from the Nelson’s Pub on Horatio St.
We’re gonna do a 1-day pop-up mostly pre-ordered that you just come and collect (a very limited amount for will be available for walk-bys). Our menu will include:

- Buckets of Wings (hand-spun in our signature sauces)
- The Sando (fried chicken sandwich with pepper-jelly & N'duja)
- Mini-kegs (8 pints) of beer from our pals at 40ft brewery.
We will be offering our classic range of sauces (Buffalo, Kansas City, South Carolina, Texas & Garlic Parmesan) and also ’The Sando’ a fried chicken sandwich we’ve been developing in lock-down and testing out in various different forms on Deliveroo & for the local neighbourhood. We think we’ve perfected it now ! We’ll have a order form on our website with a limited amount of time slots, so we’re encouraging punters to act quick !"
