Tendril's 3 Month Residency at the Sun & 13 Cantons in Soho

Tendril, the vegetarian and vegan pop-up from chef Rishim Sachdeva, is popping up at The Sun & 13 Cantons in Soho from 17th March - mid June 2020, serving Tuesdays to Saturdays.  I visited Tendril when they were in Bethnal Green earlier this year, and was blown away by the flavours.  This is excellent food that doesn't make you miss meat at all.  I love the salads, and also the bigger dishes - can't wait to visit this one again!

"Soho's Sun and 13 Cantons continues its series of very interesting pop-ups (they hosted Darjeeling Express before Asma Khan opened their first restaurant) with its latest announcement - Tendril. It comes from Rishim Sachdeva, previously at Chiltern Firehouse, Almeida and The Dairy and who is now going it alone with Tendril, serving up a plant-based menu, based on British cuisine with a vegetarian/vegan twist.
The Tendril team have been busy popping up across town since starting in Autumn 2019, first in Putney and The Hive in Bethnal Green. The Sun will be their biggest space yet, so as well as promising a lot of work on preserves and homemade vinegars, they've extended the menu with dishes to include:
Sweet corn gnocchi with fermented corn puree.
Crispy mushroom wellington with confit garlic
Hand-rolled pasta with cashew ricotta
Pappardelle with vegan cheese and fresh green peppercorns"
