Secret Samosa Club is popping up at The Shrub & Shutter in Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, until the end of September, serving their gourmet samosas and more from 5pm on Tuesdays to Saturdays. Go for the samosas - inc a 'cheesburger' one - and for their full menu including burgers, small plates, and - new for this residency - the Amritsar Fish Taco.
"After their sell-out run in February at Great Guns Social, SSC is back this time at Brixton residency experts Shrub & Shutter. They’re there till the end of September.
Whilst the classic Chaat Fries, TBOLT Naanwich and Punjabi Cheeseburger Samosa are all still strong on the menu, you’ll find new stunners such as the Amritsari fish tacos, Dosa burger (V) and Tandoori King Prawn & Naan Tostada flying high on the menu too.
There is also a new Butter Chicken rice bowl that is award-winning in it’s native Canada, where creator Rick Matharu is from. It’s DELECTABLE - rich, buttery, tomatoey - exactly what it should be like. Accept no alternatives!"
