The Bonnington Cafe's Summer Pop-up in Wandsworth

The Bonnington Cafe was originally set up by squatters in Vauxhall in the 1980s and has continued as a cooperative ever since, serving good, low cost food to local residents.  It has now opened up a new pop-up cafe in Thesally Road, Wandsworth, SW8 for the summer, with the same goal of serving up great grub at afordable prices (typically £2 to £5).  It's vegetarian, and uses produce from the nearby New Covent Garden Market, which is also a sponsor.  It's open from 11am on Wednesdays to Saturdays, closing at 4pm (2pm on Saturdays.).  Please support this great community project!

"We’re serving delicious home-cooked food lovingly made by local cooperative, Bonnington Café, using only the freshest ingredients from New Covent Garden Market"
Our cooks + menu change regularly so you’ll need to pop in to see what we’re serving today. We make all our food with the same ethos + mission: to serve amazing vegetarian home-cooked-style food at great prices in a friendly, welcoming, community place.
The Bonnington Café on Thessaly is a community project funded by VINCI St. Modwen and New Covent Garden Market, working with Bonnington Café and in partnership with Thrive Wandsworth.
