Plus - a new Christmas menu
"Join us for a night of French cooking and regional wines collected from our trips and memories around France. A feast of rustic sausages, confit duck, pork belly and beans, with autumnal feeling and puddings on wheels.
Jacob Rosen (Pitt Cue, Corrigan’s) is taking the lead in the kitchen and suggests this four course set-menu:
1. Bread (& butter)
Saucisson sec | Fromage de tête & sauce Gribiche
2. Soupe de Poisson
3. Cassoulet
A vast slow-cooked stew of rustic sausages, confit duck, pork belly and beans under a rich brown crust
4. Cheese from Mons Cheesemongers or Puddings - classic French desserts from the trolley
(There is also a vegetarian menu - here)
We’re working with London’s best suppliers of high-welfare meat, seasonal vegetables, bread, beans and dairy.
We have two sittings for dinner - a 7:00pm start and an 8:30pm start and on Saturday and Sunday two sittings for lunch - 12:30pm and 2pm. Please choose when booking.
The feast is priced at £35 per head and the bar takes cash or card.
There will be a nice list of tasty apéritifs, regional wines from small producers (with plenty of choice by the glass) and undoubtably someone will open the Chartreuse."
