The 2017 Slider Decider - with 16 Chefs - at Broadgate Circle nr Liverpool Street

The Slider Decider is an annual event where chefs battle it out to see who can produce the best mini burger.  It's at Broadgate Circle again this year, and has 16 restaurants competing.  It's free to attend, and takes place on Saturday 16th September 2017, from noon to 6pm.  You buy books of 5 tokens for £15 which you then swap for sliders.  A great way to spend your Saturday afternoon!

"Patties are being prepped and brioche baked – the battle is about to commence for London’s tastiest tournament, the ETM Slider Decider 2017 – and you can be front and centre for all the meaty mayhem. 
From midday on Saturday 16th September, some of the UK’s most creative chefs will gather at foodie Hub Broadgate Circle to showcase their slider skills for the ultimate title of Slider Decider Champion 2017.

• Jamie Oliver's Fifteen
• The Jones Family Project
• Long Arm Brewing Co
• Opera Tavern
• Roast Restaurant
• Senor Ceviche
• Shane's On Canalside
• Smoke & Salt
• Tom's Kitchen
• TUYO
Join the chefs and enjoy their unique creations, being served hot off the KamadoJoe grills supplied by CCS, throughout the day. All sliders are priced at £3 and sold in books of five tokens for £15. Once the winner has been crowned, continue the festival spirit with a cocktail from The Botanist’s alfresco Bulleit pop-up bar while live music plays into the evening. The Botanist will remain open until 12am for those wishing to continue the party.
Hosted by BBC Radio London’s Food & Drink Presenter, Nigel Barden, all finalists will fight it out in front of food fans from across the capital and a stellar line-up of judges: Mike Gibson, Deputy Editor for Foodism Magazine; George Wales, Commercial Editor of Mr Hyde and Emerald Street; Emily Gibson, Freelance Food Writer for Metro Online; and burger blogger extraordinaire Burgerac! You get to have your say too by voting in the ‘People’s Choice Winner’. 
Take your Saturday afternoon, sandwich it between two brioche buns, and take a big bite – it doesn’t get tastier than this."
