Little Ghost's Asian-Inspired Bagels at Brother Marcus in Balham

Get ready for amazing bagels!  Little Ghost is taking over the kitchen at Brother Marcus in Balham for Friday and Saturday evenings in September, from 1st - 23rd.  Expect Asian inspired bagels, with a focus on chicken, loaded fries and squid ink fried chicken wings - perfect for sharing as a group.  See you there!

"Little Ghost will be taking over the kitchen at Brother Marcus, Balham every Friday & Saturday night 6:30pm - 11pm in September with heavy metal & fried chicken.
Street food stall turned pop up restaurant, Little Ghost focuses on Asian inspired bagels, loaded fries and squid ink fried chicken wings. The concept is that of a burger chain, ordering the whole menu and sharing items with friends over a few beers.
We use charcoal & beetroot for the bagels giving them each a great black or pink colour. The bagels are made in the traditional New York way, boiled & baked and all the fillings focus heavily on Asian cooking ranging from Japan, Malaysian, Korea & China. Item’s such as the fried chicken bagel and the beetroot, potato & coconut curry vegan bagel.
The focus is quite heavily on fried chicken this time around, but taiwanese style as opposed to the last pop up in Birthday.
Little Ghost has now been featured in Vice Munchies, NME, Stylist magazine, Evening Standard & Elle magazines September issue.
Little Ghost Bagels was started 2 years ago by chef Adam Andrews at a rooftop bar in London Fields called ‘Playground & Proof’ as a street food stall, moving onto Maltby Street market, Kerb Kings Cross and Peckham Springs.
Little Ghost now operates only as a restaurant pop up with a much larger menu, weekly specials menu inspired by Asian & New Zealand cooking.
Adams experience has lead him to working as a cafe consultant making menu’s for the Hoxton café Friends of ours & Hot Numbers Coffee in Cambridge. Previously head chef of the kiwi café Flotsam & Jetsam and sous chef at the Aussie café Milk, in Balham."
