Tony Rodd, finallist in MasterChef 2015, runs a supper club at The Guildford Arms in Greenwich on the first Tuesday of each month, Consisting of 3 courses plus an amuse bouche, it costs just £35 per head, with a wine pairing of 4 glasses for an additional £17.50. Tony was described as 'The Master Chocolatier' by Gregg Wallace, and loves wotking with pastry, but as you can see he's also very good at the savoury courses too. Sounds like an excellent night!
"Tony was a finalist in last years’ MasterChef and forged a name for himself with his desserts and chocolate work. Dubbed “the master chocolatier” by Gregg Wallace, he has spent his time since the competition honing his skills in the pastry kitchen. Having had success with desserts, Tony found a fondness for chocolate work and has been creating stunning puddings that wow both the eye and the palate. He takes traditional flavour combinations and plays with texture and presentation. Tony is currently working on a book of recipes aimed at the amateur cook who wants to create beautiful plates of food in their own homes.
Tony now acts as a private chef, cooking bespoke dinner parties in his clients homes across the country. He caters for all tastes and dietary requirements, and creates menus ranging from three-course events up to five-course taster menus. Tony also brings his food to restaurants across the country in a regular supper club. These events offer a set menu prepared and cooked by Tony and his team in restaurants, pubs and venues across the UK. During the meal, Tony introduces his menu and comes to all the tables for a brief chat."
