Decatur's 'American South and Louisiana' Residency at Pamela Bar in Dalston

Decatur, who have done street food at Druid St and with KERB, have taken over the kitchen at Pamela at 428 Kingsland Road, serving up lots of amazing treats like whole buttermilk fried quail, Nashville ‘Hot’ Oysters, and Bourbon Spiked Pumpkin-Meringue Pie (wow).  They aare serving Tues - Sun until January 2016 - and possibly longer.  Form a queue!

"At Pamela our focus is the same as it ever was on the street; cooking and highlighting the amazing, and more hard to find food of the American South and Louisiana, using the best British ingredients we can find. That might mean a rare-breed Hogs Head Terrine, coupled with Green Tomato Chow Chow, a Whole Buttermilk Fried quail dressed with Spiked Nottinghamshire Honey from my Mum’s Beehives - or our signature Chargrilled Wild Oysters from Maldon, in Essex - grilled with Garlic Pecorino Butter and Crystal Hot Sauce. We run a 8-10 small plate menu with rotating specials, and a selection of bar snacks (like Awesome Devilled Eggs, Boiled Peanuts and Puffed Pig-Skin Cracklins) to whet your whistle. I’ve attached a sample menu below for your perusal!
Menu includes:
