Bah Bah's Persian Residency at The King & Co in Clapham

Persian food comes to The King & co in Clapham Park Road in the shape of Bah Bah's two month residency.  James Nicholson combines the influence of his Iranian mother's cooking with his own history of working at top London restaurants including Hawksmoor and The Palomar, to produce tasty fragrant stews and more.  Available seven days a week.

"Throughout February and March, Bah Bah will be serving up a feast of Iranian food and flavours at The King & Co pub in Clapham. During the two-month kitchen residency, diners will be able to enjoy an array of irresistible hot and cold meze small plates, big plates of hearty braised stews with fragrant rice and Persian essentials, plus delicately scented desserts and daily changing specials.
Bah Bah’s founder and head chef James Nicholson grew up surrounded by the wonderful fragrance of Persian food thanks to his Iranian mother. Now James has developed his own menu of aromatic Iranian dishes, which he is launching exclusively at The King & Co. Taking its name from the familiar Farsi auditory compliment for all things appealing, Bah Bah’s food is inspired by James’ heritage and influenced by his decade of hospitality experience working at top London restaurants including Hawksmoor and The Palomar.
Commenting, James said:
"Bah Bah is an expression of my love and deep infatuation for Iranian food and flavours. It is an offering based on memory, my mother’s recipes and traditional Persian flavours, interpreted in a style familiar to me.”"
