Jameson Irish Whiskey are holding a series of Sunday events on Dalston Roof Park in E8, around different themes. On Sunday 15th October it's 'Taste' with all sorts of tasty things to enjoy, plus art and DJs. There's a special lunch by The Russet, which costs £22, but you can also get in to the other part of the roof without attending the lunch.
"The Jameson Irish Whiskey 'Sunday Senses' season at Dalston Roof Park will close on Sunday 15th September with a programme designed to excite gourmet palates with a series of experimental edible treats focused on our sense of TASTE. Beginning with a feast, designed especially for the occasion, this unique lunch will be ticketed (limited seats available) whilst part of the roof will remain open to all throughout the day. As the sun comes down the TASTE extravaganza will culminate in a rooftop party, wrapping up the ‘Sunday Senses’ event series.
The afternoon will start at 3pm with a lavish lunch designed in collaboration with local restaurant and Young British Foodie nominee, The Russet. This one-off dining experience will take the form of a delicious feast of Jameson inspired, British and European influenced dishes and treats made from local, seasonal ingredients. In an extra twist, the food on offer will be arranged to represent the five elements of taste - salty, bitter, sour, sweet and umami – taking palates on a thorough sensory journey.
Each lunch guest will also enjoy an exclusive Jameson cocktail designed for the Sunday Senses by Background Bars.
Bompas & Parr protégés The Robin Collective will add a playful touch to the day with their signature experimental takes on all things food, flavour tripping marshmallows and supertaster testing. Ticket holders will get priority access to these activities as well as some special surprises. Guests not attending the lunch and regulars of Dalston Roof Park will also have the opportunity to enjoy The Robin Collective’s unique brand of foodie fun throughout the day whilst they relax on the roof top.
Sunday Senses resident DJ Shamos (NTS) will bring the party to the roof top for an evening of dance beats.
Exclusive Jameson cocktails and ‘picklebacks’ will be available from the special Jameson bar. The ‘senses’ theme has been inspired by the multi-sensory exploration of the Jameson drinking experience."

Tickets - £22 + fees from here for the lunch, but access to the rest of the roof will be free (if you're a member of Dalston Roof Park - if not it's £3 on the door to join)
