Pop-up Ping Pong, aka PUPP, aka Amin and Nesma, are back at their Kensington venue for a night of ping pong, retro gaming - including Donkey Kong, PacMan, Mario and Space Invaders - with street food from #BRGR, plus a great bar.
"Pop Up Ping Pong (@PingPopPong) set to return to its spiritual home of West London on Saturday 7th September for an evening of retro gaming.
Fresh off the bat of a series of early summer events, PUPP have decided it's time to celebrate a few arcade games alongside good old table tennis. This time, Donkey Kong, PacMan, Mario and Space Invaders are coming along for the ride for an eighties gaming-inspired bash.
With a suite of retro arcade games set to sit alongside PUPP’s seven table tennis tables in the now disused Kensington Pub, you can expect an evening of laughs, smiles and a whole lot of winning smashes…
Not stopping there, the ping pong party will be going from 6:30pm – 1:00am while simultaneously hosting an always-raucous version of beer pong. Using hand-made tables adorned with iconic red American party cups, PUPP invites you to pick a partner, top up the cups and get throwing!
Knowing that food is an essential part of any good party, long time friends and meat connoisseurs #BRGR are coming down to Kensington to flip some well-seasoned patties. Proprietors of the finest ingredients, grass-fed beef from The Ginger Pig and brioche buns by Miller’s of Wimbledon, #BRGR will be on hand to serve up their signature sliders along with Momofuku Milk Bar’s legendary Crack Pie.
Drinks will of course be on offer throughout the evening to toast victories, drown sorrows and fill those red Solo cups ready for the next game. With beer starting at just £3 a bottle and mixers from £4.50, prices are kept low so that everybody can get involved.
And music? PUPP hands this one over to you…
Whether you’re partial to Lionel Ritchie, Disclosure or even Talking Heads, worry not as you can add your own requests to PuPP’s ever growing event playlist."
