Following the success of their last pop-up in November, Greek Meze are back with another event, but only for 2 days (& 3 sittings) this time.
"As a little winter warmer, we’re making a small diversion from meze to bring you something from the mageirio (=cookshop). Mr. Dimitris, in a basement mageirio down a steep flight of stairs just off Athens central market, is renowned for his chickpea soup. It’s a beautifully simple rich veg broth with a delicate balance of olive oil and lemon and deliciously soft chickpeas, which he has been serving to the market traders for the past 50 years.
For our second pop-up, we are returning to the Hackney Cypriot Association in Dalston to bring you a warm seasonal menu at post-christmas prices for just two nights.
As ever, the meat is happy, from the Ginger Pig and the squid line-caught from the south coast."

Where - Hackney Cypriot Association, 5 Balls Pond Road, N1 4AX
