The Rebel Bakery, which makes gluten-free cakes, is popping up in Queens Parade, the pop-up shopping arcade in Willesden Green that opened in the summer. It's opening before and after Christmas, for three weeks in total. The cakes look great - well worth a trip!
"The Rebel Bakery is the cake shaped creation of John Whiter & Lucy Britton. Passionate about gluten free cakes that look and taste fabulous, the pair set about experimenting with rebellious ingredients, and in June 2011 The Rebel Bakery was born. Specialising in wickedly delicious cakes and cupcakes made from vegetables and packed with flavour, from the boozy Old Fashioned and fiery El Diablo to kooky cake burgers, The Rebel Bakery creates all kinds of crazy cakes to tickle your taste buds!
This Christmas, a cake wonderland comes to Willesden Green, NW2. Forget about cute, overly sugary cupcakes and sample the wonders that reside inside Unit 1 Queens Parade. From 14th December, The Rebel Bakery pop up shop will be serving a wealth of delectable, and festively rebellious, treats from Bah Humbug mint chocolate cakes to star anise marshmallows and gingerbread and salt caramel cupcakes. Big and small selection boxes will be available to order in time for Christmas, with an ever changing selection of sweet delights including mulled wine jellies, rosewater tea biscuits, cupcakes and Christmas cakes also available to buy in-store daily. Every product under the Rebel Bakery roof is gluten free but trust us, they’ll taste better than the real thing…
We would love to welcome you to The Rebel Bakery Pop Up Christmas shop this December!"
