Xmas Crafty Pint Craft Classes & Market in Tooting

The Crafty Pint is back in Tooting on the first Saturday of December to give people a chance to buy crafted goods, and to take part in workshops to make their own crafted goodies.  I went to this last year, and it was excellent!

"The Crafty Pint Xmas workshop extravaganza is back at the Tram and Social Club in Tooting, South London for their annual handmade Christmas on Saturday 1st December.
Crafty Pint invite you to take your pick from drop-in workshops and design and make your own Christmas gifts, cards, decorations and wrapping paper.
They have brought together a collection of fabulous workshops for you to create your own handmade Christmas, including fused glass coasters, fabric wreaths, shrinky jewellery, paper stars, felting, crochet, up-cycled jewellery, sewing and ceramic painting. There is also a print mezzanine where you can print your own cards, gift wrap, bags and tea towels.
Come along for the day to print, stitch, stamp and glue your way to a handmade Christmas!
Crafty Pint’s talented workshop tutors are experienced designers and artists who will demonstrate all the skills and techniques needed to design and make your own Christmas gifts. Workshops vary from £1 to £20 per item made and include all tools and materials. The workshops are suitable for all ages and abilities, and children are very welcome with an adult.
There is even a film of last years' Xmas Pint, so you can see for yourself what crafty treats are in store - http://youtu.be/8tJxO7haztM
“The space is lovely, there’s a bar if you fancy a tipple, cake stall for the necessary sugar hoovering and loads of craft activities. Last time, I did pottery painting and made myself a couple of necklaces. I really recommend it!” Karen, Xmas Pint participant
“It was FANTASTIC. Truly. There's something really great about spending the afternoon in a room filled with people making things.” Kirsty, Xmas Pint participant
“A nice way to get to know a few more like-minded people who like making things.” Xmas Pint participant
“It’s been awesome, just loads of options and choices, we are really pleased. And cupcakes and cider!” Xmas Pint participant
