Nightriser is a special shopping night in Kensal Rise. (Nightriser - geddit?) For one evening shops will be staying open late and offering hot food will be available, and there will be live music too.
"A team of local shops, cafes and talented musicians are gearing up to bring Kensal Rise residents its first ever Nightriser event on Thursday 6th December.
Based at the top of Chamberlayne Road, around Kensal Rise overground station, the event will see shops including love KR, Kidsen, Supra and Jivita Ayurveda extending their opening hours from 6-9pm, giving residents a relaxed, after-hours opportunity to buy Xmas gifts. Expect free bubbly and lots of offers!
The night kicks off with Kensal Rise’s Xmas lights being switched on at 6pm, with help from coral singers, a steel band and very special guest.
To keep warm there will be tapas, charcuterie and mulled wine on sale at Minkie’s Deli, turkey orders and sizzled frankfurters at Brooks Butchers and hot chicken soup and dumplings with mini pies made by Kosher Roast.
Live, open air music will be playing throughout the night to make a real party atmosphere. Celebrations continue at The Shop NW10 until 12am, where they will be hosting an adult grotto: visitors can confess their naughty sins of the past year to a very Bad Santa!
No tickets; free entry; everyone welcome."
