This one isn't strictly in London, but it is within the M25, and it's so fabulous that it definitely deserves a mention. It's a feast in an 18th century Georgian house, taking place over two weeks (6 evenings & 2 Sunday lunches) in December.
"This December, South Feast brings you a Christmas Dining experience with a difference.
A rare opportunity to enjoy the historic Kevington Hall never before open to the dining public. An evening (or Sunday afternoon) of festive dining and drinking to remember.
Enjoy 1940’s cocktails and atmosphere created by Adam G Manning in our “wartime” rooms before being “evacuated” to the opulence of the grand dining rooms in the house for a five course seasonal feast.
After dinner, find the spare room and climb through the wardrobe to a Narnia of snow, cocktails, music and dancing. The wartime rooms will also re-open, adjoining “Adam’s Bar” serving imaginative drinks until the small hours."
