Harvey Nichols have brough some winter warmth to their 5th floor bar with a special pop-up by elit. Imagine sitting in a log cabin, drinking vodka cocktails, in the centre of London!
"Bringing Alpine vistas of snow-capped mountains and a certain ‘après ski’ feel to Knightsbridge, brand new Freeze by elit launches at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor terrace on Wednesday 10 October. Inspired by the unique freeze-filtration process which gives elit™ by Stolichnaya® vodka its incredible smoothness and purity, the Freeze by elit terrace will have a sleek and elegant look, complete with a luxurious log cabin. Playful touches such as silver stag heads, vintage skis, faux sheepskin rugs and snug blankets will create a cosy atmosphere in which to enjoy cocktails, tapas and Stoli® ice pops, whilst looking out to mountains and glaciers from the window scene.
Wine Shop, new flavours Stoli Hot and Stoli Sticki® also make their debut as part of this wonderfully warming winter menu. A remix of the very first flavoured vodkas launched 50 years ago, Stoli Hot offers the warm, fiery sensation of jalapeño peppers, perfectly matched with rhubarb liqueur, pressed lemon, Harvey Nichols London honey and fresh ginger in the hot cocktail Stoli Jalabarbinger. For those who prefer the sweeter things in life Stoli Sticki showcases the delicious candied palate of the finest honey with complex floral notes to complement its subtle sweetness; muddled with crushed pear, cloves and lemon juice, and served with sliced pear dipped in walnuts the Sticki Situation is the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing for a crisp winter’s day. If you’re taking shelter in the cosy log cabin, share an elit Freeze, combining elit by Stolichnaya vodka with quince jelly, cinnamon, pressed apple, crushed pear and stem ginger; this sublime cocktail is served tableside in a large ice bowl for six or more.
Accompanying tapas dishes have been developed by the Fifth Floor Café chefs to match the cocktails. The three perfectly paired options include: Stoli Hot vodka tiger prawns and garlic complete the offering."
