Dirty Crunch is a food business run by the Putnina sisters, which is popping in the beer garden at The Royal Standard in Croydon from 12th April 2021. The business was set up last year, and they have already become established on delivery apps, and local markets. Expect burgers, toasties, sides, and lots more. Looking forward to visiting this one!
"Santa (yup, thats her name) returned from working abroad mid summer last year and decided to pursue her dream and started food business.
Evita (eldest one) was on furlough and decided to jump in and support her.
Swiftly moving forward - they are currently renting kitchen space in local Croydon Pub and trying to finds funds to open their own space.
They have been going through so much and adapting to new lockdowns and restrictions, landlord demands as much as they possibly could.
Going to farmer markets, helping local community, supporting families with school children meals over half terms (France 2 featured them as a part of Marcus Rashford campaign) and let's not talk about giving 35% revenue away to big 3rd party delivery chains (this should be illegal).
Both of them have been working really hard and have decided to give it a final shot now and getting ready for hospitality to open up."
When - From 12th April 2021
Where - The Royal Standard, 1 Sheldon St, Croydon CR0 1SS
