AngloThai's July Residency at Newcomer Wines in Dalston

AngloThai, aka John and Desiree Chantarasak, will be cooking at Newcomer Wines, 5 Dalston Lane, E8, every Friday and Saturday in July 2020.  The residency will be primarily for takeaway - with dishes including Mu Ping (Whiskey and soy marinated Ibérico pork skewers), and Gaeng Tay Po (a vegan aromatic coconut cream curry with coal roasted celeriac) - but there will also be some spaces to eat on tables outside the wine bar.  This one is going to be incredibly popular!!

"AngloThai, co-founded by husband and wife team John and Desiree Chantarasak, have partnered

with Newcomer Wines to bring an exciting new food and drinks offering to Dalston. AngloThai have

created a food menu focused on over fire cooking, with an emphasis on the flavours of Northeastern

Thailand, inspired by the rural, countryside dishes of Issan.

AngloThai x Newcomer will launch on July 3rd & 4th, and will be available for pre-order collect and

delivery in designated time slots starting at 5pm and ending at 9pm. In addition, there will be a

limited number of “AngloThai x Newcomer Alfresco'' tables available each evening, following social

distancing government guidelines. AngloThai Alfresco tables are available for pre-booking via

Newcomer Wines. AngloThai x Newcomer will operate every Friday and Saturday for the month of

July.

As part of their reopening, Newcomer Wines will release their very first edition of ‘The New Old

World’ wine list, showcasing over 300 references covering back vintages and verticals from some of

the most celebrated winemakers of the London restaurant scene. The drink-in wine list will be

complemented by an eclectic selection of new arrivals from Newcomer’s collective of growers,

including Christian Tschida, Claus Preisinger, Matassa and many more available alongside the

AngloThai offering for take-away, delivery and sit-in."
