VINtwined is on a mission to educate us about British wines, and is holding a month of supperclubs at The Clerkenwell Kitchen to do just that, as part of The Evening Standard's London Food Month. It's happening on Wednesday to Friday evenings from 1st - 30th June, and tickets are just £45 (£55 after 26th May), which gets you a welcome drink, then 3 courses plus paired wines. It's bound to be popular!
"English wine is so popular right now, and for good reason too; there is some cracking stuff right on our doorstep. VINtwined founder, Neil Deacon, has been out exploring our own vineyards to uncover the best and most culinary inspiring wines the UK has to offer – and there are some corkers! In true VINtwined style, we have created dishes based on the inspiration provided by these wines to bring you the ultimate tasting experience. What’s more, because the wine is local we thought we would go local with the food too. That’s why we are using as much as possible from as close by as possible; including produce from within the M25
