Four Wine Dinners for The Real Wine Fair around London
The Real Wine Fair takes place at Tobacco Dock in London on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th May 2017. To coincide with this on Sunday 7th May there will be 3 collaborative dinners around London with wine bars from Spain, France and Australia popping up in Covent Garden, Battersea and East Dulwich, plus one final dinner on Monday 8th May at Terroirs in Covent Garden.
Info, addresses and booking details are below -
Sunday 7th May 2017 - POP UP at Terroirs Covent Garden
"Bar Brutal have been serving up their Venetian influenced tapas and pouring natural wines from their Can Cisa wine shop since 2013. Like Terroirs, Bar Brutal is a must-visit for all wine loving foodies.
They are known for their wine list of more than 300 wines and still counting – all natural, organic or biodynamic.
Expect a full house of Real Wine Fair friends and Catalan vibes brought by team Bar Brutal. Share tables with artisan growers from around the globe."
Where - Terroirs, 5 William IV Street, WC2N 4DW
Tickets - £40 - Pay £20 up-front here
Sunday 7th May 2017 - POP UP at Soif Battersea Rise
"Le Verre Volé, beloved wine shop-come-bistro, has grown into two Parisian locations and a Tokyo outpost, but is still as humble and homely as ever. It’s the kind of place where you can rub shoulders with winemakers and end up in conversation with the foodies beside you.
It’s been a shared philosophy at Soif since we opened in 2011, with our list of over 400 handpicked wines and our monthly shared table wine dinners showcasing Chef Anthony’s carefully sourced ingredients."
Where - Soif Restaurant, 27 battersea Rise, SW11 1HG
Tickets - £40 - Pay £20 up-front here
Sunday 7th May 2017 - POP UP at Toasted East Dulwich
"On the 7th May we're handing over the kitchen at Toasted East Dulwich to Chef Patron, Dave Verheul and co-owner Christian McCabe from Embla in Melbourne.
After the hugely popular ‘Town Mouse’; Embla is this duo’s second Melbourne venture and winner of The Age Good Food Guide 2017 Best New Restaurant.
We’re feeling pretty ‘new’ at Toasted too, with Chef Ollie Lawrence and Manager Basile Gueret - both from Terroirs - recently re-launching Toasted’s Bistro and opening our new Wine Shop."
Where - Toasted, 36-38 Lordship Lane, SE22 8HJ
Tickets - £40 - Pay £20 up-front here
Monday 8th May 2017 - 4 Restaurants POP UP @ TERROIRS WINE BAR for the Real Wine Fair
"The Four Horsemen from New York, Bar Brutal Barcelona, Le Verre Volé Paris and Embla Melbourne are all joining our head Chef Michal in the Terroirs kitchen for one hell of a party. With 4 international wine bars in house, we’ll be sharing an awesome wine list on the night. 350 wines and 40+ magnums - all natural, organic or biodynamic - many on show at the Real Wine Fair... and Juicy Fruit will be spinning vinyl 'till late!
The a la carte menu will be packed with each restaurants’ favourites: Boudin noir with seared cuttlefish from Le Verre Volé, monkfish in ink from Bar Brutal, sea bass carpaccio from Embla, pork collar chop from The Four Horsemen and a classic cheese and charcuterie board from Terroirs."
