Pasta 'n' Goulash's Weekend Pop-up at Tolli Cafe in Kentish Town

Pasta 'n' Goulash, the Italian / Hungarian pop-up that has appeared around London for the past 18 months or so, is now popping up for 4 weekends at Tolli Cafe in Kentish Town, serving a mix of Italian and Hungarian dishes (& beers), starting 25th March.  I never got a chance to try this in December, so I'm really pleased that it's coming back.  The food just sounds fantastic!

"A man from Budapest and his better half from Parma have decided to take their pop-up to another level. After their extremely popular one-month winter appearance in Holborn, Agata Reverberi and Tamás Sápi are bringing Pasta n’ Goulash on a London tour… and the next stop is Kentish Town.  The new seasonal menu focuses on slow-cooked stews and hand-made filled pasta. Expect the signature Goulash soup in a crusty bread bowl, Marhapörkölt (beef stew) with dumplings and pickles, the sour cream and paprika bomb, Chicken paprikash, and their first Hungaro-Italian fusion vegetable stew called Lecsó Peperonata.  The Italian side of the menu is dominated by fresh hand-made gnocchi and ravioli pasta, each with a rotating selection of fillings and sauces available to choose from. Starter options range from Liptauer and aubergine spreads to Hungarian-Italian charcuterie platters as well as desserts from both countries.  A wide range of traditional and small-producer wines, spirits and bubbles are on the drinks list as well as carefully selected craft beers and prosecco cocktails to accompany the food."
