Bagan, is a new contemporary Burmese dining experience, and is holding its launch dinner at BSMT gallery in Dalston/Stoke Newington on Saturday 4th March 2017. Tickets are just £40, which gets a four course menu, plus a welcome cocktail, and drinks are BYOB, with just a £5 corkage charge. I'm going to this one, and I'm very excited!
"Bagan is a contemporary Burmese dining experience created by a doctor with Burmese heritage and run by three women with a passion and love for food and entertaining.
Following on from the success of our soft launch in December, we are excited to be back at the BSMT space to bring you a night of contemporary Burmese food, art and good music.
Bagan means 'bowl' in Burmese and is also the name of an ancient and beautiful city in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. It is a city full of temples and tamarind trees, caught in a bend of the Irrawaddy river.
Each Bagan feast is guaranteed to send your taste buds on a journey of discovery through an array of sweet and spiced aromas. Join us for a truly unique night of contemporary Burmese food and London culture.
