Hoxtoberfest is, as the name suggests, an Oktoberfest happening in Hoxton. It's for three days only - Thurs 20th - Sat 22nd October, in Hoxton Docks in E2, and has lots of German beer, frankfurters from Herman Ze German, and a few 'Hoxton' touches like the brass band Old Dirty Brasstards. Tickets are £15 for general entry, or £30 which includes a 1 litre stein of lager, and some food. Lots of fun!
"From 20th - 22nd October, Hoxtoberfest is giving you something different to the traditional Oktoberfest - head to Hoxton Docks to enjoy the only Oktoberfest in town that's offering authentic German cocktails, courtesy of the guys at Fritz-Kola. We are also building a full sized Alpine chalet to fit in all the Erdinger, as well as a Berliner Pilsner bar and culinary delights from Herman ze German.
Couple that with the Old Dirty Brasstards (a brass band playing all your modern favourites) and a German pop band and we really are offering something completely different. Of course, we'll have steins, beer and sausages to play along with the stereotype, but Hoxtoberfest really isn't just 'same old, same old'.
