The Billingsfield Kitchen's Summer Party at Brother Marcus in Balham

The Billingsfield Kitchen, who have popped up previously in Brixton, will be cooking for two nights at Brother Marcus in Chestnut Grove, Balham, on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th June.  The chef for the night will be Sam Lowry, formerly of Dock Kitchen, and now at 40 Maltby Street, and he will be serving up a seven dish menu, including Barbecued Lamb, Green Beans, Anchovy & Dandelion.  Tickets are just £36.60 - go!

"Working with Sam Lowry, sous chef at industry favourite 40 Maltby Street we will be serving a set menu of the best in season produce. Sam’s style is fresh, stripped back and ingredient led and is absolutely delicious. The dishes are designed for sharing allowing you to sample many different flavours over the course of the evening.
To match the food, Matt Bushnell, founder of The Billingsfield Kitchen, has selected wines from a handful of artisans who produce wines that are natural, organic or biodynamic. These wines are fantastic, match beautifully with our food and some even argue, are better for your health. Make sure you try the orange wine we’ll be serving – it’s unusual and outstanding.
The venue for the night is at Brother Marcus garden café in Balham. A stones throw from Balham tube, the venue couldn’t be easier to get to."
