Fresh from her record-breaking pub residency at The King & Co in Clapham, rising star Melissa Thompson is extending her tour of South London’s top popup spots and bringing her popular Japanese comfort food to the acclaimed community dining space in Herne Hill. Renowned for serving up delicious and surprising flavour combinations with a soulful hearty style, Fowl Mouths' new evening popup partnership with The Lido Cafe will provide guests the chance to enjoy a diverse cuisine in a truly unique setting.
Diners visiting the new poolside popup at The Lido Cafe on Thursday and Friday evenings during April can enjoy a mouth-watering menu showcasing Fowl Mouths’ favourites such as irresistible Teriyaki Chilli Wings and tender Ponzu Steak marinated in citrus-seasoned soy sauce, alongside brand new Japanese-inspired delights ranging from vibrant Grilled English Asparagus with Yuzu Hollandaise to delicate Hake and Clams with Shiso Brown Butter and Udon Noodles.
Those wishing to end their meal on a sweet note can take their pick from Melissa’s intense signature Chocolate Sesame Ball with Matcha Ice Cream or a creamy and soothing homemade Cherry Sencha Panna Cotta.
