Fraise Sauvage and Eat 17 Team up for "Pop Upstairs" in E9

Dessert specialist Terri Mercieca aka Fraise Sauvage, famous for her 'Happy Endings' dessert-only supper clubs, is back for a series of dinners in collaboration with Eat17 in Brooksby's Walk, E9, on Friday and Saturdays.  Starting on Friday 18th, these will run every Friday & Saturday evening until the re-launch of the Castle Cinema, hopefully later this year.

"Eat 17 and Fraise Sauvage team up for an exciting series of dinners every Friday and Saturday evenings from March 18th until the re-launch of the much anticipated revival of the Castle Cinema.
'Pop Upstairs' is their new collaboration, uniting to create a dining experience like no other in East London. Slow food with big flavours meets seasonal, bold and delicious desserts.
Expect to see dishes from the savoury connoisseurs Eat 17 such as ‘Smoked eel pot pie, collard greens & onion vinegar’ and ‘Szechuan lamb, ginger compote, fried spring onions and brown rice cooked in peanut milk’
And from the sweets specialist Terri Mercieca aka Fraise Sauvage - dishes such as 'Tres Leche cake, sheep milk sorbet, rosemary crumble and rosemary beurre noisette'. Using sheep cheese and milk from Lancashire. Or 'Chocolate Saucy pudding with sweet corn ice cream, caramel popcorn and smoked salt'.
Also available is the burger menu from downstairs and a wicked cheese board showcasing English cheeses. The bar will be back with its signature cocktails that you know and love."
