Farang London's February Thai Lunch and Dinner at San Deniele in Islington

Pic - Kaleem Hyder
Farang London, a new venture from Seb Holmes, formerly of the Begging Bowl in Peckham and Smoking Goat Soho, is popping up for lunch and dinner at San Daniele in Isington, N5, on Sunday 28th February.  £35 gets 4 courses of Thai curries, plus there will be wine and Chang beer.  Very excited about this one!

"Farang London aims to feed Londoners modern Thai street food with a key focus on fusing seasonal ingredients with home-made Thai street food. Founder and head chef Seb Holmes (@sebbyholmes) fell in love with Thai food whilst working at the Begging Bowl in Peckham where the food is renouned for it's sweet, salty, spicy and sour deliciousness. It was here that he worked his way up to the sous chef position.
His next venture was to become head chef of the launch team for the Smoking Goat Soho, where he fused slow cooked, open fire barbecue with Thai flavours. Seb has been in and out of professional kitchens since he was thirteen years old, with his earlier training focusing on using seasonal ingredients to the full, with minimal waste. This new venture is a collaberation of all things culinary that Seb finds dear to him, there is no loyalty to any form of authenticity, just flavour.
This brings us to Farang London. Starting small as pop-up's, supperclubs, private catering and street food markets, Seb wants to build Farang London organically. Getting face to face with customers and building a following through a shared love for Thai food."
