The Christmas Snow Globe Pop-up at Searcys The Gherkin in The City

Searcys The Gherkin is transforming its Level 40 restaurant and bar into a snow globe this Christmas, with lots of special events, including afternoon tea, festive lunches, and even a glamourous New Year's Eve party.  There are also special cocktails to enjoy - I've got my eye on the Truffle & Chocolate Espresso Martini!  The Snow Globe will open on Sunday 6th December, and run through until early January 2016

"For the second time this year, Searcys The Gherkin will be opening its doors to what is normally private members’ only, the top level 40.
The tip of the tower will be transformed into a magical Christmas Snow Globe, open to the general public for an array of festive delights; Christmas themed Sunday Afternoon Tea, festive lunch or dinner, and a glamourous New Years Eve party to see in 2016.
Afternoon Tea: Enjoy Christmas pudding style treats, and macaroons in festive hues, as well as classic house-made scones and festive finger sandwiches.
Festive cocktails: If cocktails are for you, these Christmas tipples are sure to make you feel magical; Truffle & Chocolate Espresso Martini, infused with vodka and liqueur; The Egg Nog, a recipe of smoked raisin infused rum, Chartreause and cream; Christmas Tea, a heart warming hot drink with hibiscus gin and Benedictine.
New Years Eve Packages: With the option of two packages ‘Indulge’ or ‘Prestige’, as well as being dressed in white tie, you’ll be welcoming in the New Year in ultimate style. Available with matching wines, the menu offers a fine dining experience of five courses including foie gras terrine, and champagne ice cream."
