Jason's Little Kitchen, the West African supper club, has a dinner on Sunday 22nd November at Maida Hill Place in W9. All of Jason's dishes are made using the best British organic vegetables, and ethically sourced meat and fish. November's dinner includes Fried Yam and Red Snapper, and costs just £37.50 per head. "Come and join us for a 3 course meal where we will experience the fine flavours of West African cuisine. Serving traditional West African cuisine with a modern touch we have carefully obtained organic produce completely free from growth promoters and hormones which have all been selected to bring out the finest flavours for our meals.
Starters:
-AGBELI KAKRO-
Fried Cassava formed into small balls and then cooked until they are crunchy golden.
Mains:
-FRIED YAM & RED SNAPPER-
Known as a staple vegetable in Ghana we will be cooking Fried yam served with fresh pan seared red snapper accompanied by a special red pepper sauce.
Dessert:
-NKATIE YOGHURT CRUNCH-
Using a luscious vanilla yoghurt as the base of this dessert it’s infused with crushed pieces of a favourite Ghanaian peanut cake ‘Nkatie’ to give it an extra smooth crunch."
