Galicia, the region in the North West of Spain (above Portugal) has a fine cuisine, and this is being celebrated in a series of dinners at the Melia White House hotel near Regent's Park. Taking place from Thursday 15th - Saturday 17th October, with sittings at 6.30pm and 8.45pm, it costs £60, which includes 7 courses and 5 glasses of wine.
"Be ready to enjoy a fantastic evening with delicious, Galician food paired with a selection of wines certified by Denominación de Origen that will make for an unforgettable experience.
Enjoy a seven-course dinner that will take you on a journey, showcasing the very best of the Galician region of Spain like never before. Its cuisine is a major reason for tourism to Galicia, and this is your opportunity to experience it right here in London.
The menu is a secret until the evening, but think about fresh seafood from the Galician rías, the highest quality meat, the best traditional dishes, and you will have a quite accurate idea of what you will find. The reason of keeping it secret is the best part, because nothing will be what it seems - expect a night full of new flavours and experiences - you will think you are eating beef when it can actually be fish, pasta or even a dessert! It will be a fun night full of guessing and discovering what you are truly eating. All of it accompanied by some of the finest wines and spirits from the region, served throughout the seven courses."
