Chomping Ground is back for one of its regular brunches at Little Baobab cafe in Lower Clapton Road on 31st October, with a suitably ghoulish Halloween theme. British Barbecue fiend Billy Smokes will be cooking, with a menu that includes an amazing-sounding Benedict Brisket; tickets are just £15 from Chomping Ground, with walk-ins welcome too.
"We're back to brighten up your brunch sessions!
This time, we're hooking up with the all-new British Barbecue fiend Billy Smokes, who is going to be firing up a spesh we're calling Flesh 'n' Bones on actual Halloween.
So it's back to our favourite Clapton spot, Little Baobab, from 10.30am - 2pm on Saturday 31st October.
And on the menu?
Charred stone fruits with ricotta and basil
then
Brisket Benedict - slow-smoked beef brisket topped with a poached egg and hollandaise, served on a toasted English Muffin, baked by the excellent Bread Club
or
Charred tenderstem broccoli served with a poached egg and fire-toasted pine nuts, served on a potato rosti
Also in the £15 ticket will be a choice of either a bone broth Bloody Mary or spiced pumpkin Bellini.
Banging out some spooktacular tunes on the day will be the Crucial & Fresh crew - check out a smorgasbord of their latest sonic offerings here: https://soundcloud.com/crucialandfresh/crucial-fresh-farm-fest-mix-2015
