Rotli Crew's 2 Month Residency at The King & Co in Clapham

This October and November Rotli Crew will be taking over the kitchen at The King & Co in Clapham.  I love Rotli Crew's food - really tasty curries made from fantastic fresh ingredients, really well presented.  Starting on Monday 5th October,  it'll offer a full range of dishes from small plates to larger helpings - make sure you go!

"Rising streetfood stars Rotli Crew are bringing their unique modern Indian-inspired cuisine to Clapham next month when they become the latest popup chefs to take up residence at The King & Co pub. Running daily from Monday 5th October through until Sunday 29thNovember, the kitchen takeover will give visitors an eclectic mix of small and large plates with sensational flavours that guests cannot find in their ordinary curry house. The menu is influenced by the popup chef duo’s personal family recipes and reflects the delicious dishes eaten at home by Indian families, using the freshest sustainable and seasonal ingredients.
RotliCrew’s residency will see them introduce guests to new diverse regional curries and unusual Indian delicacies. They are offering exotic small plates including Pani Puri filled with sweet potato, kala chana, tamarind ketchup and green chutney and luscious large plates like Kashmiri Mutton Curry with winter vegetables. Desserts include their Chilli Chocolate Brownie with homemade cardamom ice-cream and Mango and Lime Mousse with Nankhati Biscuit. Saturday Brunch and Sunday Lunch are also getting a modern Indian twist and with Specials changing regularly, this is a kitchen takeover that will definitely be worth multiple visits.  After taking time out from their busy full time jobs to eat their way around the world, Ben France and Aneesha Noonan decided to follow their passion and start Rotli Crew. In early 2014 they began trading at Hoxton Street Market and have since then traded at popular outdoor venues including Streetfeast’s Dalston Yard and Chatsworth Road market in Hackney.
After being part of the hugely successful Alchemy Festival at the Southbank Centre, they began 'Inkerbating' with KERB across their many London lunch markets. Now well established on the streetfood scene, Rotli Crew will be bringing their signature crowd-pleasing favourites Jeera-fried Chicken Wings and Masala Cod Cheeks to a new audience in Clapham. The popup chef duo pride themselves in using quality produce with the rare breed, slow aged meat being supplied by Turner & George and sustainable fish and shellfish from Moxons.
Located just moments away from the main drag of Clapham Common, The King & Co has earned its reputation as a pub with a difference. Renowned for its extensive lineup of carefully curated craft beers, wines and spirits, and extraordinary food unlike anything else on offer locally. The upcoming Rotli Crew residency is the latest in The King & Co’s series of acclaimed kitchen collaborations with well-respected London streetfood traders and popup chefs, including Squid Kitchen, Vinn Goute, Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, Miss P’s Barbecue and Donostia Social Club"
