i-Kitchen is holding a Sunday night Italian supper club at Maida Hill Places in W9 on 27th September focussing the new wave of dishes and creativity coming out of Italy. It'll be a seven course tasting menu, and costs just £39.
"i-Kitchen presents Modern Italian Cuisine, a new culinary experience. Italy is country, well known for its good food, but there’s much more than a Bolognese sauce, tomatoes or Alfredo sauce.
There’s still remain the old stereotypical/signature aspect of Italian food, culture from la Vita è Bella, The Godfather etc…..but there is now so much more to Italy in 2015, there’s a new and innovative culinary scene just trying to break away from the past with a whole new creative approach to Italian food and a new generation with voices to be heard. They want to move forwards and not backwards.
We’ll be introducing a new approach to Italian food, we’ll be serving a 7 courses menu of Creative Modern Italian Food, made from the highest quality, seasonal ingredients.
So don’t expect salami hanging on the wall, square table cloth, or old wicker bottle of wine!"
