Hammerschlagen is a pop-up cafe and bar at the DOT at 79 Stoke Newington Road, with DJs, beers from arund the world, food and coffee. Open just for September (so far) it'll be serving from 8am to 2am every day from Yues - Sun. Go and try it out!
"Hammerschlagen, a pop-up café and bar situated in between the main drags of Stoke Newington Road and Kingsland Road in Dalston, will bring together the world's finest beers with a Germanic passion for striking nails into tree trunks with giant hammers.
The heart of Hammerschlagen is a sound system and decks on which some of London's newer and more experimental DJ’s will be invited to show what they are made of, and rub shoulders with jaded veterans playing techno, jungle, balearic, acid, house, and whatever can be picked up from the local record shops. If you are dextrous, discerning or just desperate to be heard, consider this an open invitation: Hammerschlagen wants you.
The Beer Boutique has been catering to West London's beer needs for four years now, and will be bringing the best of the best from Bermondsey, Berlin, Bruges and beyond. With Oktoberfest fast approaching, a crisp and clean stein-filling lager had to be the showcase and we've found just the thing.
As well as sound artists, engineers and DJ’s, fantastic chefs and baristas will be keeping everyone at 100% throughout the day. Delicious vegetarian treats, frankfurters, and freshly brewed coffee to complement your new staple diet of beer and beats - it will be your Hammerschlagen away from home"
