The 'All The Quail' Pop-up Restaurant on Brixton Hill

A new pop-up restaurant, All The Quail, has opened in Brixton.  Located at F Mondays coffee shop at 112a Brixton Hill, it's open every Thursday - Sunday from 6pm - 11pm until 30th June 2015.  The menu focusses on affordable fine dining, with produce sourced from Brockwell Gardens, and cooked on a backyard grill by Katy Sethna (Ex Ramsay) and Phil Walther (ex Mugaritz in San Sebastián and RyuGin in Tokyo).  As they put it, it's 'root to shoot, nose to tail, beak to buerzel'.  Go!

"The small, natural space is the creation of two Brixton locals who want to bring their global food experience to the region. Former Ramsay prodigy and Salon sous-chef Katy Sethna has teamed up with former Mugaritz Philipp Walther for an affordable fine-dining experience that couldn’t be more south London.
The produce will be sourced from Brockwell Gardens – and depending on what they have in that day, they’ll create a six course tasting menu, cooked exclusively on a backyard grill. Foraged, pickled and creative. The opening week saw the likes of...
Spring broth
Brickhouse bread, Griebensmalz, pickles
Smashed cucumber, sesame, yoghurt
Sole, leeks vinaigrette
Quail, herb polenta, grilled lemon
Rhubarb, lemongrass, basil
Tea and biscuits"
