The 1877 Club Pop-up Restaurant with Christabel in Harrow

Christabel Beeson, one of London's most active pop-up chefs, is holding a special collaborationwith Harrow School at the end of May, creating The 1877 Club, hosting afternoon tea and dinners in the school's Old Harovian Room.  It's not the most central pop-up I've ever featured, but it's probably the only one to take place in such a rarified setting.  It runs from Monday 25th - Saturday 30th May, and prices are £45 for afternoon tea, and £65 for dinner.

"One of the most famous public schools in the world is opening its doors to the public over the May half term with a tennis-themed pop-up restaurant partnered with Christabel.
Open for afternoon tea and dinner from 25 to 30 May, The 1877 Club will transform the School’s Old Harrovian Room into the first-ever All England Championships of 1877, in which an Old Harrovian, Spencer Gore, secured the title.
Seated on a real grass court, with former Head Masters looking on from their portraits, guests will enjoyed innovative dishes, served as British tennis etiquette dictates. The 1877 Club will offer glimpses into the game's proud past, and the experience will invoke all the sights and sounds of the season.
For dinner, the five-course tasting dinner menu is priced at £65 per person. An afternoon tea of sandwiches, sweets and savouries costs £45. Prices include a drink on arrival."
