Bestowed Kitchen's Pop-up Cafe-Deli in Walthamstow

Update - now extended to open weekends until Saturday 23rd May 2015

Bestowed Kitchen is a new food business based in Walthamstow, founded by couple Jeremy Wood and Sabrina Floriani, providing handmade food.  They are opening a pop-up cafe-deli for the second half of March at the pop-up shop in Central Parade, Hoe Street, E17, a spot previously used by other pop-ups.  It's open daily from 18th-29th March, and will finish with a special cocktail night - full details below!

"Bestowed Kitchen will be setting up its pop-up cafe-deli serving its signature fresh and gourmet salads (including pearl barley, balsamic red onions, roasted pumpkin and hazelnuts, lemon whipped feta with parsley), breakfasts (including their own made yoghurt with multi-seed and almond granola), cold mains (including rose water and harissa chicken), handmade breads (including fennel and multi-seed), cake (including salted caramel and pear), as well as Caravan coffee, teas, ales from local brewery ELB,  and cold drinks. It will also be selling some of their own products including apple wholegrain mustard.
The space will be furnished with exclusively created up-cycled furniture from local designer Claire Loescher, and local illustrators Linda Hughes and Andrew Baker will be exhibiting their art. All art and furniture will be available to buy and collect at the end of the pop-up.
Local Councillor Clare Coghill added: “Our pop-up shop has provided a great opportunity for a host of different businesses and I am sure Bestowed Kitchen will enjoy their stint and it will provide a useful platform for them to develop their ideas. It’s a brilliant way to get some exposure and to test out what you are doing and to see what works. I would urge residents to get along to try out the delicious  goodies that I know they will have on offer – you won’t regret it.” (Councillor Clare Coghill, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and High Streets)
To close the two week pop-up in style, it will also be hosting a special vegetable, fruit and herb inspired cocktail night to celebrate all things grown and wild with a menu especially devised for the Cultivate Festival (Waltham Forest’s Urban Food Growing festival). Ready your straws for such creations as cucumber, gin and coriander cooler. This event will be held on Saturday March 28th from 7.30pm and will be free entry."
