Tacu Tacu's 3 Day Latin Explosion at Stage 3 Platterform at The Hackney Empire

Latin American street food experts Tacu Tacu have been away for a while, but they return on Thursday 19th Fabruary for a 3 night stint at Stage 3 at The Hackney Empire in Mare Steet, E8.  Expect things like calimari burgers, Mojito Cheesecake, and as a special treat a Mojito Burger (just for the final night, Sat 21st)

"After a long winter break Latin American food kings Tacu Tacu will be popping up in a 3-day Latin Explosion extraordinaire at Hackney Empire's very own Stage 3 from the 19th-21st of February. Expect one of the most radical menus in the London pop-up scene with a strong emphasis on seafood. Their trademark Mojto Cheesecake will be joined by newcomers- Brazilian cheeseballs in a smoked garlic and honey sauce, spicy prawn cocktail and seafood fries, chipotle calamai rings, albondigas {meatballs) served in a rich dark chocolate and red wine sauce. For mains, try a calamari burger with salsa criolla, Mexican fish and chips or the eponymous veggie-friendly Tacu Tacu.
On the final day only an unmissable treat awaits- the infamous Mojito Burger will be making a much awaited comeback. A delectable mini brioche bun filled with a spiced banana patty and mojito cheesecake- this time it has a friend in the form of cinnamon-dusted sweet apple fries and a dulce de leche dip.
Drinks will draw on the flavours of  Latin American and on Saturday Hungry Man will be DJing with a set that will have a strong Latin Jazz feel with some Baile Funk thrown in."
