This January - March, as part of the Vault Festival in the tunnels under Waterloo station, Forza Win has created a 1980s retro South London Italian restaurant, complete with a spaghetti and meatballs, red wine, family protraits and more. Each sitting lasts an hour, and in that time you can expect a bit of 'theatre' (& maybe some murders) from Marco's friends and associates. It should be tasty, and lots of fun!
"For January, February and some of March, Forza Win have created a different kind of restaurant within 2015's Vaults festival. Marco sells Meatballs, and the occasional murder - come meet him and the Family!
Thick red drapes, dimmly lit tables, black and white family portraits, check table cloths, suspicious glances...welcome to Marco’s - A social hotspot for South London’s regular geezers and seediest gangsters...where the red wine flows and the meatballs are the best in town!
Each night guests will be transported to an imaginary 1980’s traditional South London family Italian for Marco’s legendary spaghetti meatballs, a glass or two of the good stuff and a few surprises."
