There's a one day wine sale happening in Brixton on Sunday 14th December, 8.45am - 2pm, hosted by New Zealand Cellar. Come and taste & buy some of their wines, plus there will be free coffee, and a breakfast sausage BBQ too. Tickets are just £5.
"The New Zealand Cellar has put together a brilliant wine-sale, for experts and novices alike, to discover and purchase an incredible range of premium New Zealand wines on the 14th December at Brixton East. For one day only, this ‘garage’ sale will showcase exceptional bottles difficult to find in retailers, and sold here without the retail mark ups. Think of it as the wine-lovers answer to fashion’s sample sale, and just before Christmas it’s an excellent opportunity to buy last-minute gifts too.
The New Zealand Cellar is raising awareness and improving availability of the finest wines New Zealand has to offer and with 40 producers present, from Seresin, Neudorf, Pegasus Bay and Gladstone Vineyard it will be easy to discuss your festive wine needs with the experts. Buy on the day as gifts for Christmas, or perfect food matches to your own hosting needs (samples available to try) – all at great prices and in a lively and relaxed environment. Keeping with the antipodean theme there will be complimentary coffee from Caravan and a pop-up breakfast bbq featuring sausages from Provenance Butchers in Notting Hill (both NZ owned).
The New Zealand Cellar offers a diverse selection of wines, with the aim of continuously evolving and developing as new vintages and wines become available to the market. Founder Melanie Brown has worked in the London restaurant industry for 8 years during which she played a fundamental role in developing The Providores and Tapa Room wine list to offer the largest selection of premium New Zealand wines in Europe."
