The Spread Eagle on Albert Street in Camden, a Young's pub, is hosting a supper club on Sunday 21st September. It's to celebrate the start of British Food Fortnight, and there will be a live musician there to help set the scene.
"Pop down to established Camden pub The Spread Eagle on 21st September for a Sunday evening of perfection. Diners will delight in a fabulous four course menu beginning with Young’s Perfect Bloody Mary; an amuse of starters including Scotch quail’s egg, Cullen Skink, Welsh Rarebit followed by roast sirloin of beef with beef dripping potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, winter root mash and roast beetroot. Dessert will follow with a trio of sherry trifle, damson fool and treacle tart; followed by a fabulous cheese selection to finish. Each course will be matched with a carefully selected wine and introduced by a Young’s wine ambassador. An acoustic musician will set the scene with live music throughout the evening and board games will be provided for end of meal entertainment."
