Rentokil is bringing its 'Pestaurant' back to One New Change for one day only on Thursday 21st August 2014, 11am - 3pm. Tasty treats on offer include sweet chilli pigeon burgers, salt & vinegar crickets, mexican spice mealworms, plain roasted locusts, scorpion lollipops, chocolate covered mixed bugs, and more, and it's all free. Last year 3,000 people came and tried the pests - I suspect it will be even busier this year!
Rentokil will be celebrating its pest control heritage by serving up an array of exotic treats including: sweet chilli pigeon burgers, salt & vinegar crickets, mexican spice mealworms, plain roasted locusts, scorpion lollipops, chocolate covered mixed bugs and much more. Also up for grabs will be a limited number of specially-commissioned bug bakes, cooked from a recipe created by a mystery celebrity baker.
The food is FREE and a number of Rentokil experts will be on hand to discuss the food being served, answer any pest questions from members of the public and pass on their ‘top tips’ for avoiding pest problems.
All are welcome to come along and sample a dining experience like no other."
