The 'Beersham' Two Day Beer and Champagne Festival on Old Street Terrace

On Friday 11th and Saturday 12th July 'Beersham', a celebration of beer, cider and champagne, is taking place at Old Street Terrace, a new venue in the middle of Old Street roundabout, where the tube station is.  Entry is via the pedestrian tunnels under the roundabout, and tickets are £5 each, which includes your first drink.

"Old Street Terrace, presents ‘Beersham’, a celebration of the finest craft beer and champagne makers on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th July.
Featuring breweries such as Brewers & Union, Redchurch, Brewdog, Moncada, London Fields Brewery, Palm, Beavertown and champagne makers such Coates and Seely Brut Reserve (English), Devaux Grande Reserve , A Fourtin Rose.
Enjoy the festival in a unique location on the infamous roundabout above Old Street station, an open-air oasis amid the hustle and bustle of Tech City. Also on offer is a changing street-food menu, live screening of the World Cup and free Wi-Fi, in a laid-back, lounge like environment. The entire space is covered in street art that nods to the graffiti murals that the local area is famed for.
Founder Alex Daw says: “We are attempting to create the kind of atmosphere you’d find in open-air bars and cafes of other European cities like Berlin or Barcelona. The constant flux of multinationals passing through Old Street station daily means we can expect a very eclectic crowd on the terrace.”
