The people at United Ramen are getting into the World Cup mood with three special dinners at House of Wolf in Islington, with 3 different fusions of Ramen on three different different nights - Wednesday 25th June is Korea, Thurs 26th is Japan and Fri 27th is USA. Tickets are going fast - almost as fast as some of those countries are going from the World Cup - so don't miss out!
"United Ramen, a ramen restaurant due to open later this Summer on Upper Street, will be holding a set of pop-up events in celebration of the World Cup games this June.
In respect to United Ramen’s concept of creating dishes using traditions inspired by Japan and infused with different cultural flavours, the dishes will focus on influences from Korea on the 25th June, Japan on 26th June and the USA on 27th June.
The 'ramen meets Korea' menu will include dishes such as Korean seafood pancakes for starters, 48-hour spicy miso marinated salmon and kimchi (prawn, konbu and shitake broth) for main and toasted sesame mochi ice cream and raspberry mochi ice cream for dessert. 'Ramen meets USA' will include sansho pepper popcorn nibbles, bbq pulled chicken, crispy bacon and spicy buttered sweetcorn ramen and chocolate ganache mochi and strawberry cheescake mochi for dessert.
Tickets are priced at £25 and the pop-ups will be held at House Of Wolf (Upper Street). The events will begin at 7.30pm but doors open at 6pm for drinks"
