A new weekly Sunday brunch club is coming to Douglas Square in Deptford, starting Sunday 6th July. Supported by Lewisham Council, the new weekly event will bring chefs like Hot Skillet to SE8 for some excellent food. Tickets are just £12 in advance from Grub Club.
"Now just over half way through its 16 week run, the outdoor event pops up every week in the middle of Deptford Market, animating the normally subdued Sunday mornings in Deptford Town Centre. It’s a low key laid back affair with diners sharing communal tables and their shared their love of food.
Recently named as one of the top ‘Bottomless Brunches in London’ by the Evening Standard, its chefs are rotated weekly with an average meal costing £15 for 2-3 courses plus unlimited drinks including booze.
It showcases some of London’s newest chefs and street food entrepreneurs.
Chefs showing off their culinary skills include Lem Lem Kitchen, Inapikkle, Hank’s Po Boys, Flippin’ Cow, The Cheeky Indian.
The Deptford Brunch Club is located on Douglas Square, (outside the Albany Theatre) Douglas Way Deptford SE8 4AG."
