Street food expert (& qualified medical professional) Philip aka Tacu Tacu is taking over Bar Kino in Morning Lane on Sat 6th and Sun 7th June for a weekend of his amazing burgers. "After stints in various food markets around East London, Latin fast food purveyors Tacu Tacu will be laying down their pots and pans at Clapton's Bar Kino, 6th and 7th June. Bar Kino is one of London few cinema-bars and will be hosting an unofficial "Field Day" afterparty. Expect the most unique burgers in all of Londres- once again the Baja Shrimp Burger will be headlining with backup provided by it's new friends- a hamburger made with a Cuban style patty- aged beef marinated in salsa ingles and ketchup, infused with smoked cured chorizo and then topped with sticky spicy chorizo jam. The meatless burger will be a pineapple-salsa topped sweet potato and cheese hash brown: vegetarians rejoice, not a mushroom or bean in site- Amen!
For sides we will be serving up crispy fries topped with Mexican mole gravy, sour cream and coriander. Alternatively try Copacabana-style grilled cheese encrusted with oregano and served with warm honey. To finish proceedings, why not have a drink and dessert in one with a deliciously decadent mojito cheesecake.
