Pop-up Ping Pong, aka PUPP celebrate their first birthday with a 4 day pop-up at St James Park tube station, SW1. It sounds like lots of fun, and they are taking bookings for half hour slots on the tables. Plus they'll have juices and coffee for you to drink while you're there.
"One year ago, Pop Up Ping Pong began on a journey across London throwing ping-pong parties filled with street food, music and liquor. These events were often wild, never dull, sometimes hectic and always memorable. Like a runaway train we’ve been from Kensington to Shoreditch via Peckham and back, and now we’re unleashing on our next stop: St James’s Park Underground Station.
From Thursday 15th May until Sunday 18th May we’ll be serving up cold-pressed juices £4, cocktails £6 and home-ground coffees £2 from inside the art deco landmark of 55 Broadway at our boutique ping pong parlour.
Open from 8am until 11pm, Pop Up Ping Pong caters to that much-needed morning endorphin boost, offers a lunchtime boredom-buster and creates a fresh new hangout come nightfall. Whether you’ll be indulging in the artfully concocted beverages at the cherry blossom bar or a game of ping pong under the neon lights, there’s never been anything like it on the tracks.
Bookings are now open for the Olympic-sized playing table by visiting our website - tube.pupp.co - at £10 per half hour. We’re taking this Underground. Make sure you come on down."
